The administration of payroll has changed dramatically since April 2013. The introduction of Real Time Information (RTI) reporting of wages to HMRC has been forced on small businesses with the sensitivity of a sledgehammer. For a large company with a dedicated payroll department the change hasn’t been too onerous, but for small companies the additional admin is significant.

The proposed introduction of automated penalties later this year leads to the very real possibility of the smallest employers facing penalties of £1,100 a year for simply being 1 day late submitting their PAYE data to HMRC each month.

We manage the PAYE obligations of our clients using HMRC recognised RTI capable software.

We are also now offering payroll services as a standalone service as some accountants are withdrawing from this area or significantly increasing their prices.
